God our Father delights when we spend time with Him in prayer. Praying with and for others is an encouragement, a help, and a fulfilling way to serve God. For additional information ontact Chris Bratton.
Do you need prayer?
- Come to the Prayer Corner after worship.
- Fill out the Prayer and Care Requests card in the pew rack.
- Request that your name be listed in the Together in Prayer section of the bulletin.
- Call your deacon for prayer and care for any need.
- Ask to be put on the Prayer Chain.
- Ask to pray with anyone wearing a Prayer Ministry name tag.
- Request a Stephen Minister.
- Participate in any of the prayer gatherings listed below.
- Monthly Prayer
- Every 2nd Tuesday, 7pm - Tuesday, June 12th
Pray for the people, ministries and missions of MVPC. Fireside Room. - Prayer before Worship
- Sundays, one half hour before the first worship service
Pray for our MVPC family, community, and our weekly worship gatherings. Bride's Room. - am Prayer
- Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30am, FMC 201-202
Pray for each other and our church family and ministry, and pray confidentially for requests on the Sunday Prayer and Care Requests cards. - ePrayer Team
- Receive periodic e-mails of prayer inspiration and information on specific prayer needs for MVPC. Sign up by sending a request to Chris Bratton.
- Prayer Chain
- The prayer chain prays for unexpected or urgent prayer needs. Call Cynthia Stoutamore (283-1242) to join this team; call the church office to add your prayer request.
- Transition and Pastor Search Committees
- Please pray for our Pastors, Session and Pastor Search Committees during this transition. Watch for communication regarding special prayer gatherings.
