SonWorld
Vacation Bible School

June 23 - 27, 2008
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Thank you to everyone who helped make SonWorld Vacation Bible School such an incredible week! We had 350 children hanging on to their hats and sunglasses as they rolled through exciting adventures and learned that in all their daily activities, big and small, choosing Jesus is the ticket to the best ride of their lives. Daily lessons taught them to believe, act, forgive and obey. Our theme verse summed up the week, Joshua 24:15 - "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve." Our misison project was "Change the Wold." Each day kids brought in coins from home and we had a weigh-in (boys vs. girls) to see who collected the mostl. The winner is " Kid's Alive" in the Dominican Republic where our donation will buy much needed supplies. (Keep checking here and we will post the final total once we have counted all of the over 400 pounds of coins!!!)
We would especially like to thank our 150 volunteers. Our department chairs need special thanks as well for their countless hours of work to make this week such a hugh success:
