Young Life is an international mission organization dedicated to reaching out to unchurched adolescents. Our goal is to care for kids within their community and share the good news of Jesus Christ. In Concord/Monument Young Life, reaches out to the Latino community. There is a middle school tutoring/mentoring program and neighborhood dinner/homework club. A high school outreach ministry is currently being developed.

Harbor House provides opportunities for low-income people to become self-sufficient through spiritual, economic, and educational programs so together, becoming all that God intended us to be. They provide emergency food and clothing, housing and job referrals, and tutoring. Harbor House has served more than 3500 people t hrough economic, educational and spiritual growth opportunities to combat the cycle of poverty in the community.

Primera Iglesia The mission of Primera Iglesia is to reach out to the local Hispanic community, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed with all of those that the Lord calls us to serve. Primera Iglesia works with Hispanic children and adults in the Concord area.

Westminster House offers a residential Christian community and educational center for UCBerkeley students, staff and faculty. We encourage personal spiritual growth and social commitment through dialogue and relationships among people from diverse traditions and religions. Our goal is to provide opportunities, often through small groups and Bible studies, to examine the Christian world view and witness for social justice in the spirit of Jesus.

World Impact located in West Oakland's Prescott community, a low-income area struggling to recover from the Loma Prieta earthquake. Unemployment, homelessness, drugs, single moms, dysfunctional families, violence and crime are part of the daily life of this community. The focus is in bringing Jesus Christ into West Oakland and the disadvantaged with after school tutoring, boys & girls clubs, Saturday breakfasts, Thrift Store, field trips, camps and more.

Joni and Friends has been dedicated to extending the love of Christ to people who are affected by a disability. Our objective is to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We equip churches so that together we can reach out to the community and bring them into the churches. Joni and Friends attempts to demonstrate in tangible ways that God has not abandoned this marginalized people group.

CityTeam offers thousands of people who suffer each year from hunger, homelessness, abandonment, drugs, alcohol, and other poverty situations hope! Hope and hearts are renewed, and lives changed because someone cared enough to reach out to them. In Oakland, we serve men through our drug and alcohol recovery program and emergency and transitional shelter, and families through the Community Outreach programs.

Bay Area Rescue Mission continues the work of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged. Emergency needs of the impoversihed and homeless are provided in the greater San Francisco Bay Area through rehabilitation programs of Biblical counseling, education, job skills training and placement, and transitional living.

Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at St. Mary's is to reach students with the gospel and teach students how to live it. Weekly Bible studies, large group gatherings and outreach events on campus for both Christians and not-yet Christians are designed to bring people into an experience with God and His kingdom.
