Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve decided to explore MVPC membership. We’ve been anticipating you. We’ve prayed for you. We’ve planned this process with you in mind.

Joining a church is a big step of faith. It’s far more important than joining a civic group or an athletic club, for the simple reason that the church is about God’s work in the world. We pray that your involvement in the MVPC Membership Process will be an integral part of your personal faith journey with Jesus Christ.

We’ve designed this experience intentionally to give you time to unite with MVPC’s purpose and people. The connections you make with others during this process are just a taste of what you will experience as a member of Christ’s family at MVPC.

We’re so excited about what God has been doing at MVPC as we seek to know Christ and make Him known. We look forward to seeing what new things God will do in and through you as you commit yourself to journey in faith with us.

Two notes regarding this process: First, take your time with the reading. Spend enough time to absorb what God wants to impress upon you. Take breaks and come back to it. Secondly, involvement in the process does not obligate you to say “Yes” to membership. Of course that’s our hope, but if you aren’t ready we want you to feel welcome to continue participating in MVPC’s many ministries.
