Adult Ministries help adults connect with God and others, and grow in faith through Sunday morning classes, community groups, age and stage groups, prayer meetings, special events and social gatherings.

Exploring Reformed Theology

Sundays, 8:15 am  FMC 205

In recognition of the forthcoming 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, The ERT class will be studying again The Westminster Confession of Faith. We will be using the Study Class text by G. I. Williamson. In our study we will also be comparing the original text to the revised text used by the EPC denomination. Contact for more information.

Family Ties

Sundays, 11-11:45 am – FMC 211-212 | Starts September 9, 2018 

Under pressure to do things “right” and raise “good” kids, it’s easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents.  Join Family Ties as we look as God’s big picture and discover His grace that has the power to shape our parenting so that we overflow with vision, purpose and joy.  Meets September 9 & 23, October 7 & 21, and November 4.  Childcare provided.

At His Feet

Saturdays, 9:30 am – 11:30 am  Fireside Room | September 15 – December 22, 2018, meets two Saturdays per month (check dates below).  All are welcome any time and bring a friend!


Join us for an intimate time of fellowship at the feet of Jesus.  We gather to passionately worship, study the Word of God, and for personal ministry and times of prayer.  Whether you are a new believer seeking to go deeper or a mature Christian hungry for an atmosphere to worship and seek the Lord freely, there is something for everyone.  Class dates:  9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17, 12/8, 12/22.



Financial Peace University | Starts September 19

Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm Fellowship Hall
This 12 week class offers invaluable advise for those ready to get out of debt and live into financial freedom.    Registration is necessary and childcare is available with advance notice.  Register HERE  at the Financial Peace University website. GriefShare | Starts September 7

Fridays, 9:30-11:30 am Fireside Room

Outdoor 24

Outdoor 24 is an outdoor adventure ministry sponsored by MVPC. At Outdoor 24 we are committed to developing relationships with other people while we enjoy God’s creation. RAMs (Retired Active Members)

Wednesdays, 8-9:15 am  Fellowship Hall | Next talk September 12, 2018
Come for breakfast, fellowship, and a lively presentation by speakers on a variety of informative and inspirational topics. RAMs is the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except summer months!)  These talks are open to everyone, all ages and stages, so bring your friends!
