All Welcome!

Scripture offers more leadership wisdom than we can imagine, including the greatest leadership role model of all: Jesus.  There is no attribute of leadership that Jesus did not model as he trained his disciples.   We cannot go wrong by following his example.  Leading like Jesus will make a profound difference in your life and in the lives of those you influence.

The REASON for GOD, by Tim Keller

“Faith without some doubts is like a human body without any antibodies in it.” TimKeller

Why does God allow suffering in the world?
How can one religion be “right” and the others “wrong”?
Why have so many wars been fought in the name of God?
How can you choose biblical MYTH over scientific FACT?
How can you believe Christianity is the ONLY WAY?
Why are Christians such HYPOCRITES?

Dr. Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity, with a deep compassion for those who truly want to know the truth.

Start your day with coffee and connecting with guys  for this six week series. We will learn how to become conversant with ways to sensitively, gently, humbly, and respectfully talk about the objections, whether in the context of a friendship or a group setting and hopefully we come away better equipped to communicate God’s unconditional love.

No matter who you are or where you’re at in life, each and every day is alive with opportunity!

Maybe you’re in a rut, and while your life is safe, it’s not exactly fulfilling. You want to do more and be more but what and how?

Or perhaps you’re not happy at work and wondering should you change jobs? Maybe there is an opportunity to serve in your community. Maybe you’re about to graduate from college. Should you find a job? Apply to grad school? God has place open doors an opportunity in front of you. How do you decide to step through that door?

Join us as we recognize opportunities in our daily life, overcome the fear of missing out or of making the wrong choice and walk through open doors with confidence.  Sign up here or contact Bob Bratton for more information.

MOST OF US SPEND OVER HALF OUR LIVES AT WORK

Whatever it is you fill the 9–5 plus with—selling homes, taking care of patients, stay-at-home dad, teaching students, running a business, financial manager — work is where we spend most of our waking hours. We often forget to connect our faith to our work. How does your faith intersect with your work? We don’t consider the reasons God may have us at our job. We don’t think about the purpose and meaning we could bring to our work. We simply focus on how it makes us feel. We compartmentalize our faith to Sunday morning and see the rest of their week as having little to do with our walk with God.

responsibility - b

Responsibilities. We all have them. But we don’t all take them as seriously as we ought to. Wouldn’t it be great if we all took responsibility for the things we are responsible for? Wouldn’t it be great if you took responsibility for everything you are responsible for? Whether you are the most responsible person you know or the reason for the ‘IR’ in IRRESPONSIBLE, you’ll find some invaluable insights in this four-part series.

Guardrails 3

Guardrails: a system designed to keep vehicles from straying into dangerous or off-limit areas. They’re everywhere, but they don’t really get much attention . . . until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life—areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage.   Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails.
