Baptism Class begins January 29th
Our 2017 Baptism Class will begin on Sunday, January 29th. These classes are designed for children in first through fifth grades who were not baptized as infants, as well as unbaptized parents who may wish to become baptized alongside their children. The classes, including two mandatory classes for parents, are outlined below. Classes are led by Sam Fielder, Minister for Young Families, Dave Ricketts, Associate Pastor of Discipleship & Outreach, and Elizabeth Wolfe, Director of Children’s Ministries.
Please note we will all begin in the Sanctuary and then go down to the classroom at 9:45am when the rest of the children go to SonTown.
January 29th: Parent Information Class (mandatory for parents); 9:45 – 10:45am; Family Ministry Center Room 205
The three Sunday classes are listed below. Note that the class on February 26th is a combined class for you and your child and will be conducted by Pastor Dave Ricketts.
February 5th: Who Should Get Baptized?; 9:45-10:45am; Room 213
February 26th: What Is Baptism?; 9:45-10:45am; Room 205 (mandatory for parents)
March 12th: How Will Life Be Different After I’m Baptized?; 9:45-10:45am; Room 205
March 26th: Sacrament of Baptism; 9:30am Worship Service – Sanctuary; celebration and lunch for families at 11:00am in the Fireside Room
