Moms’ Council

Thursdays, 9:30-11:30am

“All in the Family: Finding God’s Best!”

Winter/Spring Session:  January 12 to May 4, 2017

Moms’ Council provides a weekly opportunity to be intentional about  friendships with other women, to discuss parenting, and to grow in faith.  We laugh, cry, pray, learn, and encourage one another along the journey of motherhood.   All ages are welcome!  Registration required; childcare available for children 6 months through 5 years with registration.

This fall we will discuss what makes a strong family; one that can weather all life’s storms, including family of origin issues, in-laws, step-families, challenging kids and many others.  We will look at examples from the Bible of dysfunctional and strong families, and we will learn ways to help each of us find God’s design for our own families.  Our speakers will include Lisa Lewis, Patti Francis and Sally Breul.  Pastor Dave Ricketts will start us off with some great insights on how to navigate family life with God’s help.

Register now for Moms’ Council.

“Psalms and James: Getting Real About Our Faith”

Beginning January 31, 2017

Register now for Women’s Bible Study.

Women of all ages and stages are welcome to join us on Tuesdays, mornings from 9:30-11:30am or evenings 7:00-8:30pm, beginning September 13.  This fall we will study Psalms and James: Getting Real About Our Faith.

Faith Cried Out:  When you pray, what do you say to God? The psalmists “get real,” crying out their joys and sorrows, gratitude and grief, hopes and fears.  Every emotion you’ve ever wanted to pour out to God can be found in these ancient prayers.

Faith Lived Out: How do you live out your faith in our 21st Century culture? James “gets real,” laying out practical principles for making our faith real in a world that often plays by different rules.
