With blog discussions, podcasts, advice, and inspiration, Parent CUE prompts us to intentionally connect with our families regularly. “The Missing PEACE: Finding Peace Among the Pieces”

September 13, 2018 – May 2, 2019

Moms’ Council provides a weekly opportunity to be intentional about  friendships with other women, to discuss parenting, and to grow in faith.  We laugh, cry, pray, learn, and encourage one another along the journey of motherhood.   All ages are welcome!  Registration required; childcare available for children 6 months through 5 years (by 9/1/18) with registration.

This year Moms’ Council will seek God’s peace for our lives. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” We will identify dead ends traps such as perfectionism, people-pleasing, performance and disappointments. Instead, we hope to grasp a clear vision of how God sees us; to live differently with not more, but enough; to not strive for other’s approval, but rest in God’s unconditional love. A variety of speakers will share their own journey of picking up life’s pieces and lead us to God’s ultimate peace.

Invite a friend or two to join you on your journey to perfect peace!

Women of the Word provides an opportunity for women of all ages to read and reflect on God’s Word.  Each Tuesday we first meet in small  groups to discuss the week’s passage, then gather all together to hear one of our team teachers explain and apply the Scripture to our daily lives.  Whether you’re just beginning to follow Jesus or have been walking in faith for years, we invite you to join us as we learn and grow together.
