Promiseland: 2 Years – Kindergarten

We are the promise of the future.

Sundays at 9:30 am & 5:00 pm

Preschoolers have a natural sense of curiosity and wonder, making this the perfect time to begin teaching about God and His creation. Our curriculum, First Look, teaches preschoolers clearly and concisely about the God who made them and loves them, giving them the building blocks of their faith. Each age group has a team of two teachers and two or three student assistants that help each week with activities, games and music for the children.

Children are placed in age-appropriate classrooms based on their age as of September 1st of each year.  They are promoted to the next level each September. Promiseland classes are held in the following classrooms on the upper level of our church campus. See our campus map.

9:30 service
Noah’s Nursery – 6 months up to 2 years old
Room 111 – 2 year old class (2 by Sept. 1, 2017)
Room 112 – 3 year old class (3 by Sept. 1, 2017)
Room 113 – PK/TK class
Room 115 – Kindergarten class

5:00 service
Noah’s Nursery – for children 6 months up to 3 years old
Room 112 – for children ages 3 years thru Kindergarten

Our curriculum, called First Look, introduces preschoolers to the wonder of God and His love for them. First Look gives us three foundational building blocks in the form of basic truths that anchor the entire curriculum: God made me; God loves me; and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Check-In Procedures for Nursery and Promiseland

Our electronic check-in system is located on the upper level in front of the gates to the classrooms.  Our Ministry Assistant, along with a volunteer, will greet parents and get necessary information (name, address, DOB, cell phone number, health concerns/allergies, etc.).  A name tag will be printed out and placed on your child and you will be directed to your child’s classroom.

For parents of infants and toddlers in Noah’s Nursery, you will be asked to sign our log-in sheet in the office and leave your cell phone number with us.  If you are needed by your little one, our staff will text you. Parents of two year olds thru Kindergartners must register your child on a classroom sign-in sheet.

Check-out Procedures

Parents must return to the child’s classroom for check-out.  A sign-out sheet will be there for you to initial before you take your child from class.  If the group is not back from music/worship, please wait for them at their classroom.  Removing a child from music/worship could upset other children in the process.

Registration is done during the electronic check-in.  Registration for all children is to be completed in the fall each year. If you are a visitor, you will be asked to check-in as a Guest in our system.
