Intersections
Sunday 10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
September 17 - December 17
Fellowship Hall
Intersections is an on-going adult group that meets Sundays 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall after the first hour of MVPC Worship. We’re a gathering for married or single adults in our 40’s thru 50’s… most of our kids are late elementary through college age.
This fall, Pastor Mark Stryker and Ray Witbeck will lead us a we examine how the “good life” here in Lamorinda weathers our souls. We will take an in-depth look at each of the last 5 chapters from David Goetz’s book, Death by Suburb, and explore how Jesus invites us to recover our life by “walking with him, working with him”... watching how he does it.”
Join us for bagels, SiSi Café coffee and an opportunity to connect with good friends.
During Intersections, children can attend Promiseland or www.kids. (Children can be taken to their programs beginning at 10:30 a.m.)
Jr. High student will meet in the Fellowship Hall following 9:00 a.m. service for snacks and then join Matt Plotkin in second service worship.
Contact Janet Sanders, Director of Fellowship Development and Small Groups for more information on Intersections.
Family Enrichment Classes
Family enrichment classes are offered during the year and include the topics of marriage and parenting. Led by a pastor and gifted members of the congregation, the classes focus on practical ways to apply Christian values in marriage and family life. Check our homepage or all-church calendar for upcoming family featured events.
Parent and Family Events
These events are held periodically and led by the Nurtury, Children and Student Ministries. These are a great opportunity to get better acquainted with the programs, get to know other parents, and create fun and lasting memories with your children. Check with the individual departments or our homepage featured events for upcoming related events.
