Senior High

Senior High Ministry is a Christ-centered inter-generational community for high school students. Our goal is that every high school student develops faith that is rooted in a knowledge in and experiences with Jesus, family, and the Church. Through large group gatherings, student led worship, relationships with committed and trained adult volunteers, and experiences with the whole community of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church we are always seeking to create a community that follows Jesus, filled with the Spirit, and seeks the heart of God.

Senior High Summer Sundae Sundays thru August 19

All students who will be attending high school in the fall are welcome to join us every 1st and 3rd Sunday for dinner and sundaes after The 5!   Our 5:00 service is held in the Forum near the lower parking lot (where we have Senior High) with a casual dinner served afterward outside on the terrace.  We will enjoy dinner together (small donation for dinner appreciated) and then catch up over sundaes!

Sundae Sundays: June 17, July 1 and 15, August 5 and 19.

Worship at the Ranch; Wed. 8/29 from 5-9 pm

High School students are invited to an evening of fun ranch games, good food and worship under the stars!

Worship at the Ranch has become a favorite activity for our Senior High students! Our friends, Anne and Andrew Branagh refurbished the barn and grounds at the JBL ranch praying that it would be used to celebrate love, life and worship (as well as happy horses). We are so grateful that we have been blessed by their spirit of generosity and sharing!
5:00 – 6:30 Games and socializing
6:30 – 7:30 Grilled tacos!!!
7:30 – 8:45 Worship in the barn
Come when you can and stay as long as you want!
This is a great time to invite friends! All 9-12 graders welcome!
WEAR SHOES: The Branaghs ask that we wear shoes for protection so leave those flip-flops and sandals at home and break out the sneaks! And a sweatshirt, it gets cold at night!
The ranch is located at 6001 Alhambra Valley Rd in Briones. Click here for DIRECTIONS TO THE RANCH. If you need a ride to the ranch, meet at MVPC at 4:15. You will be returned to MVPC between 9:15-9:30 for parent pickup.  ADULTS with room in your car are encouraged to come to MVPC at 4:15 to help with carpool!
Let us know if you will be joining us at the ranch so we will have tacos ready for you! If you are bringing friends, have them RSVP also! And please bring $5 to help cover the cost of dinner.
