Senior High

Senior High Ministry is a Christ-centered inter-generational community for high school students. Our goal is that every high school student develops faith that is rooted in a knowledge in and experiences with Jesus, family, and the Church. Through large group gatherings, student led worship, relationships with committed and trained adult volunteers, and experiences with the whole community of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church we are always seeking to create a community that follows Jesus, filled with the Spirit, and seeks the heart of God.

Senior High Wednesday Nights

Wednesdays, September through May | 7:00 – 9:00 pm | MVPC Forum

Senior High is a community of high school students (9-12 grades) spending time each week in a safe, fun, energetic and faith-filled environment. Students are invited to join us on Wednesday nights for worship led by our student band, crazy group games, Scripture-based teaching and engaging small group discussions. We would love to see you every week but we know how busy students are, so come whenever you can. No registration is required and friends are always welcome so drop by and check it out!

Series Archive – Listen to the podcast

This year we are posting recordings of our teaching from Senior High. Our hope is that this will be a resource to help students catch up on teaching they missed, or revisit a topic they want to think more deeply about. We also hope it is a resource for parents that enables them to know what we’re studying at Senior High, and helps them to engage their students in conversations about faith.

Mission/service opportunity for adults and high school students

Join 250 students and adults from Lamorinda during spring break to work towards justice while building homes and hope for families in Mexico. There is no building experience or church membership required to experience the significant impact a week of service for others can have on you and a family in Mexico.  As you learn to build a home, you will also be building relationships with one another and deepening your relationship with God. Join us to discover how one week of your life can change a family’s life forever.
