Mom's Council is a Christ-centered program focused on women's friendships, parenting and growing in faith. We welcome moms of all ages and stages to a time of fellowship, prayer, discussion, and instruction (and laughter)! Biblically based lessons include areas such as discipline, loving our children unconditionally; and teaching Christian values in the home. We cover topics related to being a mom in today's busy world, building friendships, knowing God better and living the fruits of the Spirit.

Exploring and Experiencing God's Best

I’m not saying that I have this all to-gether, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me.

This fall, Judy Harmon will lead us on an incredible journey. Together we’ll be looking at ways we can continue to grow in our faith, as we develop skills that will help us experience God’s best on the road we travel. Some of our topics will be:

• How to stay grounded
• Is consistency possible?
• What about my time?
• How to embrace simplicity
• Getting quiet before God
• Communicating God’s way
• Using affirmation and praise

In addition to being a wife, mom, and grandmother, Judy is a well-known National Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics and has a rich and varied background working with the poor and imprisoned. She speaks and trains coming from her faith in Jesus Christ. Judy has taught Women’s Bible Study for many years and has served as an elder at MVPC. She is married to Bob, a semi-retired pediatric dentist (and grandfather extraordinaire), and has three adult children and four little granddaughters. She is a gifted speaker and has a passion for life and faith. Join us for a fun, practical, and deep experience on the road of life!

You won’t want to miss any of it and why not invite a housewife friend! As always, Moms Council is a Christ-centered program focused on women’s friendships, parenting and growing in faith. All ages are welcome!
