Date: October 6

“… With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness
and generous love toward one another…” Ephesians 4:1-4 TPT
Moms’ Council is a community of inter-generational moms who desire to know Jesus Christ as we celebrate, encourage, and equip each other in motherhood, family and life.
This Fall, Moms’ Council will be following Karol Ladd’s classic book The Power of a Positive Mom with live speakers sharing about 7 principles of positive influence including: the Power of Encouragement, the Power of Prayer, the Power of a Good Attitude, the Power of Strong Relationships, the Power of Your Example, the Power of Strong Moral Standards and, the Power of Love and Forgiveness. We hope each mom – from new to seasoned – will rediscover the spirit of affirmation and encouragement our families need and reenergize our divine calling to lifelong motherhood. No matter how old your kids are, they need a positive mom!
Moms’ Council meets on Thursday mornings in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 for goodies and coffee. Our program runs from 9:30-11:30, starting with our speaker and prayer in large group community, followed by more intimate small group time where we discuss how we can apply what we have learned and encourage one another through prayer and God’s word. Invite a friend along to try us out!
Sign yourself up now and any children needing our (free!) Children’s Program. You may join any time and all moms are welcome.
