Author’s Night
Date: September 24
Time: 7-8:30 pm
Venue: Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church
Our mission partner, Project Peace, is hosting a speaker event at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, with author and Yale professor Miroslav Volf, where he will talk about his recent New York Times Bestseller Life Worth Living, A Guide to What Matters Most. We have pre-purchased a block of seats for this special evening and hope a group of us will go! Get your $10 ticket here. Childcare is available (limited space) for $5/child. If you will need childcare, please purchase your admission and childcare directly with Project Peace.
Prior to Author’s Night, MVPC Book Club will be reading Life Worth Living, A Guide to What Matters Most, by Miroslav Volf. What makes a good life? The question is inherent to the human condition, asked by people across generations, professions, and social classes, and addressed by all schools of philosophy and religions. Join us on September 20 for an evening of lively and thought-provoking conversation about this impactful book. Tell your friends – open to everyone! Grab your copy in the Book Store.
