Register now for Moms’ Council!
Moms’ Council is a community of inter-generational moms who desire to know Jesus Christ as we celebrate, encourage, and equip each other in motherhood, family and life.
We moms have a superpower – it cuts, forms, exposes and shapes every time we use it. Although we often underestimate it as seemingly ordinary, make no mistake about this extraordinary power, never more than a thought away and right on the tip of your tongue – the power of words.
Like our Creator, who spoke the world into existence, calls himself by the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, and Jesus who is himself “The Word”, communication is woven into our DNA. Words connect us to God and to one another.
Starting on September 7, Moms’ Council will be exploring how we communicate for better relationships. In the fall, we will “Talk It Out” focusing on communicating with one another – children, spouse, parents, family, friends, strangers. A stellar line up of live speakers will share on – creating meaningful conversations, resolving conflict, having difficult conversations, communicating with different personalities, speaking in love languages, and using words to bless.
Moms’ Council meets on Thursday mornings in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 for goodies and coffee. Our program runs from 9:30-11:30, starting with our speaker and prayer in large group community, followed by more intimate small group time where we discuss how we can apply what we have learned and encourage one another through prayer and God’s word. Invite a friend along to try us out!
Sign yourself up now and any children needing our (free!) Children’s Program. You may join any time and all moms are welcome.
